Tata came at the New Delhi Auto Expo armed and ready. And one of their guns is the 2011 Aria production model.
The MPV is powered by a 2.2 liter direct-injection common-rail diesel engine that gives the Aria 138 horsepower and up to 320 Nm of torque. It will also be available in an all-wheel drive version that delivers torque variably to each wheel, depending on driving conditions. The seven-seater 2011 Aria is also made with enough height that allows the passengers to simply walk, rather than climbing, into it. The rear seats may also be folded away to provide more cargo room. The 2011 Tata Aria features as well an infotainment unit with GPS, dual climate zones, and surround-sound.
The 2011 Tata Aria reportedly will be priced from 700,000 to 1,000,000 Indian Rupees or €10,600 to €15,150.
