She is a known celebrity for hosting Wild On!, Rock Star and for winning the seventh season of Dancing with the Stars and for co-hosting Dancing With the Stars starting in 2010 (Season 10). Burke was born in Hartford, Connecticut on September 8, 1971 to Donna and George Burke and was raised in Tucson, Arizona. She is the oldest of nine children born to their parents. Burke is Jewish, and also has Irish, French, and Portuguese ancestry.
In the year 2001, Burke married Garth Fisher, a plastic surgeon at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles and the couple got divorced in the year 2006.
